Spoke with Rebecca at Anthem - Blue Cross Blue Shield today.
Explained that Baylor has said they are not willing to pay for friends to get tested to see if they are a match. Rebecca states that the testing is not covered. BCBS has stated that the testing is not covered because of a Verizon Policy.
Mariam at Verizon is waiting to contact the main contact with BCBS to find out the stance that Verizon and BCBS want to take on the payment of testing for a organ match.
